getting him to talk more
Hi, so the guy i like is really shy. He'll talk to me more on msn and when i see him at school he blushes a lot and just smiles. In my class with him he is nice and has flirted with me once, but he is very shy around me. he'll stare at me and he smiles every time i laugh and we have things in common. But he doesn't really notice me outside of our class together and most of the time i start the convos on msn. how do i become closer with him?

Now as for your question: well, I think you're definitely on the right track now, as talking to him is the best way to grow a relationship. Unfortunately, if he's really shy, pushing to get to know him more will probably have the opposite effect, so you'll have to take things slow.
Getting to know people takes time, and he will probably open up to you eventually, but you'll need to have some patience. Of course, I'm not saying you need to wait on him, just keep talking to him and looking for opportunities to do things with him, whether there are special events you can go to, or whether you can be partners on some project in the class you have together, etc.
